Shoe Palace: Multi-Type Signage Systems for Retail Environments

Challenges

To successfully deliver this project, LC Sign had to address several production and implementation constraints across different signage types.

Multi-Type Production Complexity : This project required producing six signage systems for Shoe Palace, including double-sided lightboxes and Face-lit recessed letters with precise coordination.

Design Realization Limits : Certain design concepts required adaptation to ensure feasibility within materials, structure, and other production constraints.

Multi-State Logistics ：Shoe Palace has stores across many different U.S. states, which made logistics planning more complex due to distance and regional differences.

Process

The project was executed through a structured workflow from design interpretation to fabrication coordination and final quality assurance.

Phase 1: Design Interpretation & Engineering Review
LC Sign translated Shoe Palace’s modern, fashion-forward branding into engineering drawings, evaluating acrylic panels, illuminated recessed lettering, and frameless face-lit signage for structural feasibility and environmental compatibility.

Phase 2: Multi-System Fabrication Coordination
Six signage types, including double-sided lightboxes and face-lit systems, were produced in parallel, requiring coordinated fabrication workflows to ensure consistent quality, precision, and alignment with architectural installation conditions.

Phase 3: Finishing, Assembly & Precise Delivery
All acrylic and metal components underwent surface finishing and assembly. After completion, precise delivery coordination ensured each Shoe Palace store received complete signage systems on time, with consistent quality and seamless integration across multiple U.S. locations.

Outcomes

LC Sign delivered a retail signage system for Shoe Palace that achieved strong results in production efficiency, design fidelity, and cost optimization.
